What equipment do I need to use Dream Putt?

You will need an Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset and a Square launch monitor to use Dream Putt.

For the best indoor setup, we also recommend placing a meditation cushion or similar soft barrier 2-3 feet in front of your target line to gently stop your putts — these are widely available online.

Can I use Dream Putt in a small space?

Yes — Dream Putt is designed to work in small indoor spaces like your home, office, or hotel room, as long as you have a flat surface with some friction, such as carpet or a putting mat.

We recommend at least 5 feet of clear space around you to ensure safety and protect nearby belongings during your practice sessions. Before entering an immersive environment, Dream Putt will guide you through confirming your target line and alignment of your launch monitor in the correct position.

Is it free to join the Dream Putt beta?

Yes! The Dream Putt beta provides full access to all features for a limited time — completely free.

However, we’re only accepting a limited number of applicants who meet the equipment requirements listed above. This opportunity won't last long — apply now.

How long is the Dream Putt beta period?

The Dream Putt beta will run for 60 days.
Accepted applicants will receive a 60-day license key via email, along with instructions to install Dream Putt via the TestFlight app.

We anticipate the beta beginning in early October 2025. Once the beta concludes, all applicants — whether accepted or not — will have the opportunity to subscribe at discounted rates when Dream Putt officially launches in January 2026.

Where can I find tutorials for Dream Putt?

Tutorials will be available directly inside the Dream Putt app.

Each one is a video-guided, hands-on walkthrough designed to help you get the most out of every session and unlock the full potential of Dream Putt’s features.

What courses are available in Dream Putt?

Dream Putt includes a growing library of real-world greens — including many of the iconic venues featured on professional tours. There are currently over 70 courses available to choose from.

We are actively expanding course availability to include practice greens, and additional locations based on user demand.

How accurate are the green slopes and contours in Dream Putt?

Each green in Dream Putt is built using the most up-to-date geospatial data available, ensuring highly accurate slope and contour representation.

We also cross-reference multiple sources of topographical information to validate each model — so you can trust that the breaks you see in Dream Putt match what you'll face on the course.

Does Dream Putt support other launch monitors?

At this time, Dream Putt supports only the Square launch monitor.

However, we’re actively exploring compatibility with other leading launch monitors and connected devices, with plans to expand support in the near future.

Is Dream Putt available on other mixed reality headsets?

Currently, Dream Putt is available exclusively on Apple Vision Pro.

We’re closely following market trends to explore future support for other mixed reality devices — such as the Meta Quest 3/3S — provided we can maintain the high-quality, world-class experience that Dream Putt is built to deliver.

Can I use Dream Putt outdoors?

Dream Putt is designed for indoor use only.

The Apple Vision Pro and the Square launch monitor are not built for outdoor environments — especially in hot or humid conditions — and using them outside may affect performance or hardware safety.
